Brownies and Bars

BROWNIE TOWER

It’s the BIRTHDAY month!!!  I’m baking all of my favorite things and this month I am doing dessert towers!!!  Here’s a One-bowl Brownie Tower!!

I love birthday month!!!  It’s one of my favorite month to bake besides Christmas (This year’s “12 Days of Christmas” will be a fun one!!) because I like celebrating my birthday.  For some people, baking their own birthday cake might not be so fun, but there are people (like me!) who loves to bake for their birthday.

For this BIRTHDAY month, here’s a few facts about me!

  • My favorite bake to eat is bread!  Especially dinner rolls!  They are my Kryptonite.  I can even eat dinner rolls for dessert!!
  • The one city that I want to visit again is Paris! Oui oui!!  The patisserie!!  The viennoiserie!!
  • My dream bake is a dessert bar.   I would love to bake 100 cupcakes, 100 brownies, 100 cookies, just a bunch of desserts!!  Especially dessert towers!!

With that said, this month, it’s all about tower desserts.  I’ve been looking at so many inspiration at weddings especially of all the different dessert towers that they have.  It might just something as simple as Brownies, but if you are serving a bunch of people, dessert tower is very eye catching and can feed lots of people.

This recipe is a recipe that I found at Tasty.  Very easy, very fast to whip up and very fast to eat because it’s made in mini muffin pans!!!  And you really only need one bowl!!

The first step is to microwave or melt the chocolate chips and the butter.   It smells sooooooooo good!!!

Then add the sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and salt.  Whisk away.

Add the eggs and whisk until all the eggs are mixed in.

Sift the flour into the bowl.

Sift the cocoa powder into the bowl.

Then mix the flour until it’s blended.  The batter should look dark, thick and also smells deeeeeeelicious!!!

Spray the mini muffin pan, then with fill the pan using an ice cream scoop.

Once it’s baked, the best way to take it out, is to put it upside down on a wire rack like so.

Then tap it so that each Brownie will pop out!!

I had to try on (for quality reason ?) and mmmmm ….  deee.. liiiii… cious!!!!

Make a tower by piling the brownies together, then top it with your favorite cake topper, like what I have here!!!  I used my initial of course!  ?

Happy birthday to me and all the September babies!!!  Here’s to us!!

Happy baking!!
