CONDENSED MILK CAKE

This cake is so easy and only needs 5 ingredients!! Just 5!!! Last recipe for CONDENSED MILK month is Condensed milk cake!!

Oh Condensed Milk….  How sweet, decadent and delicious you are, that I dedicate this first month in 2020 just for you!!  ?  You know that there’s certain food that brings back memories?  That just takes you to that time of your life when you are so happy?  For me, it’s My mom’s spicy fried chicken, and condensed milk.  Oh whenever she made that chicken, I was so happy wait .. not happy but elated, excited, on cloud nine!!!  So whenever she makes it now, I just go back to my happy place!  Now my memory with condensed milk is making rum balls.  Not like the rum balls here, it’s made by crushing Regal biscuit then mix it with chocolate condensed milk (We have this in Indonesia but I can’t seem to find it here!), roll it into a ball then roll it in a bowl of sprinkles!  It’s the best snack!!  Now all Indonesian are familiar with this biscuit because we eat them when we were little itty bitty kids!  Now that I’m talking about them, I’m actually craving my Mom’s chicken and Regal biscuit!!!

Alrighty!!  Focus Onie!!!  Back to the cake!!  Now like I said on top, this cake is easy to make, only takes 5 ingredients and fast to whip up!!  You can make this cake in a 9 inch springform pan, but I wanted to do a mini version so I used this square cake pan.

First, whip the eggs until it becomes light and fluffy.

Add the condensed milk and mix until it’s thoroughly combined.

Add the dry ingredients and mix again.

Pour in the melted butter and mix again.

Pour into the cake pan that was greased with cooking spray.  Make sure to fill only 1/2 of each of the individual pan because it puffs up!

After it’s baked for 15 minutes, let it cool on a wire rack.

then put powdered sugar on top!!  Yummy!!!  And if you want to make it even yummier, drizzle some more condensed milk on top!!  Yay for Condensed milk!!!

Happy Baking!!
