Brownies and Bars

CRANBERRY BLISS BARS

And last but not least, here is the final recipe for the 12 DAYS OF BROWNIES AND BARS!!!  This Cranberry Bliss Bar will surely bring happiness and joy.  What a great way to end the 12 days!!!

What a fun 12 days!!!  I’ve used lots and lots of butter (I’m too scared to count!!  😜), I’ve used lots and lots of sugar, but I’ve fed lots and lots of people, which makes me extremely happy!!!   For our final recipe, we are making this amazing Cranberry Bliss Bar.  When I found the recipe, it really intrigued me because I’m a fan of cranberries.  Especially the dried ones.  I love it on salads and on desserts.  I need to find more recipes that uses cranberries!!

The recipe is really easy to make.  It has the cookie layer, then the toppings.  For the cookie layer, we mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract and eggs.  Doesn’t look beautiful??

Then add in the dry mixture of flour, baking powder and salt.

Add in the dried cranberry and the white chocolate chip.  I like my cranberries to be small, so I do roughly chop them into small pieces.

Then after the cookie is baked and cooled (make sure it’s cooled so that the frosting won’t melt), spread the frosting on top of the bar.

Sprinkle the rest of the cranberries on top of the frosting.  I think next time I’ll add some pistachio to add some crunch.   Doesn’t it sound good??  Then to seal it all together, drizzle the melted white chocolate on top of the cranberries.

And here’s what it will look like!!!  I love it!!!  And it smells wonderful!!  A great dessert to bring for Christmas parties!!!

Happy Baking!!
