PEACH COBBLER

Love this dessert so much that I can eat it at Breakfast, lunch or dinner!!  Use fresh or canned peaches and you will have the most comforting dessert on your plate!

I am so excited to share this recipe with you!!  Having a baking blog, I do bake so many kinds of recipes.  Delicious recipes.  If you ask me, which one is my absolute favorite recipe, I really can’t tell you!  But I can tell you this. Peach Cobbler is one of my favorite recipe that I can make again and again and not be tired of it.  It’s one of THOSE!

Here is the best part of this recipe.  Self rising flour.  It’s flour, salt, and baking powder in one.  This means less measuring!!   I usually buy a small bag of it just because I use AP flour most of the time.  But if you have a big bag, you can use self rising flour for making biscuit, cake, funnel cake, etc.  So many things you can make with it.

This recipe is so easy to whip up that you can make this dessert just one hour before when you want to serve it.  So fast to make!!  First you preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.  While the oven is preheating I like to save time by melting the butter in the baking dish.

Here’s what it looks like as it is melting in the oven.   And while waiting for the butter to melt, you can start to whip up the mixture.  It’s really as easy as 1-2-3!  You don’t even need your stand mixer.

When the oven is preheated, you can take the baking dish out of the oven and set it on the table.  Be careful the dish is really hot.  You might want to put a tea towel under the baking dish.

Now you have three things ready for assembly.  Put the mixture on top of the butter and then arrange the peaches on top.  I like to have them nice and neat so that I get a bite of peach in every spoonful!

In about 35-40 minutes, you will get a delicious, tart and sweet cobbler!

Now I have to be honest with you.  I don’t know if you notice or not but I don’t have a picture of the full pan of the baked cobbler.  The reason is I couldn’t wait to eat it that I forgot to take a picture of it!  That’s how much I love this dish!  Next time, I’ll try to remember to take the pretty shot before I start devouring them!!  🙂

Oh, two ways to eat this Peach Cobbler.  With or without ice cream.  Which one is your favorite??   😛

Happy Baking !!!
