AMERICAN FLAG SUGAR COOKIE

Happy 4th of July!!!! Here’s a American Flag Sugar Cookie decorated with Raspberry, Blubbery and cream cheese!!! Very easy to make and very festive!!! 4TH OF JULY month will be filled with delicious red, white and blue desserts!!!

This year’s 4th of July is really different than other years but we can still celebrate with the food!!!  I love themes in so many things.  In food, in decoration, in clothes.  Almost every family pictures we have theme colors!  I’m just that kind of girl!

Now for 4th of July is great excuse to make themed dessert.  I was debating whether doing a cake, pie or cookie, and cookie is the winner!!  I used a favorite sugar cookie recipe, add cream cheese frosting and fruits.  Easy and fast to make!!

Start the recipe with mixing sugar and butter until it’s light and fluffy.  Then add the egg and vanilla extract.

After that add the flour mixture.  it’s not a lot of steps, right?!

Press the dough into a 9×13 baking sheet that’s lined with parchment paper and bake!

After the cookie is cooled, spread the cream cheese frosting on top.  Then decorate away!!  Use raspberry for the red line and blueberry for the stars.

Since the blueberry is smaller than the raspberry, there will be gap if I put it right on top of the cookie.  So I piped some frosting first then add the blueberry just like the picture below.

Here’s the American Flag Sugar Cookie!!  So fun to make and so fun to eat!!!

Happy Baking!!!
